We encourage all of our clients who are able to incorporate a boat entrance and/or boat exit to do so. This is so unique to Coastal Virginia Beach, and is guaranteed to WOW your guests. Not to mention, you’ll get the best pictures!

Outdoor Lighting

If you have a venue with a beautiful view, you want guests to appreciate that! Add some cafe lighting and rattan pendants to your outdoor space to immediately attract guests out there. Also, this will be especially attractive late at night when the weather has cooled down, and guests need some air!

Gelato Cart

Who doesn’t love ice cream on a hot summer night? A gelato cart from Incredible Edibles or an ice-cream cart from Lolly’s is an absolute YES from us. They’re also a great alternative for couples who don’t love the idea of a traditional wedding cake.

Waterfront Views

Here at The Lesner Inn, we are all for Waterfront Wedding Venues in the summer. And Summer is the perfect time of the year to enjoy the nice breeze on the water. Not to mention, cocktail hour on our Sunset Deck is one of our favorite parts of a Summer wedding. You get to enjoy the view, soak in the weather & watch a beautiful sunset on the Lynnhaven Inlet.

We are here for coastal chic, all white, neutral color palettes. But we are also here for fun & bright color schemes (or even tropical!). The world is your oyster – so lean into whatever color scheme you like the most and incorporate it into your place settings, bridal party attire, and decor.

The best way to welcome your guests in the heat is with a refreshing cocktail (or mocktail). Whether you offer your guests VB’s iconic summer cocktail of choice – the Orange Crush – or some chilled wine, your guests will be grateful and excited to celebrate you!
