What tips do you have for brides searching for their wedding dress?
The best advice for brides looking for their wedding dress is shop early! Start shopping for your wedding dress 9-12 months before your wedding date! Specialty wedding gowns that need to be ordered take about 6-8 months to arrive and around 3 months for alterations. It is SO much better to give yourself more than enough time, than to be scrambling a few weeks before your wedding date!
How many people should attend the dress try-on appointments?
At Studio I Do Bridals, they offer three types of appointments. Standard appointments at Studio I Do allow for 4 guests. A private appointment allows for up to 6 guests, and an after-hours appointment allows for up to 10 guests. When bringing more than 4 guests to an appointment, it is very important to set boundaries; too many opinions can be extremely overwhelming and confusing for a new bride! Everyone involved in the appointment needs to remember that it is the bride’s dress. It is all about what makes her feel special and what dress allows her to feel herself.
What does booking an appointment look like at Studio I Do Bridals?
First, start online by visiting Studio I Do Bridals! Select your location (Roanoke or Virginia Beach) and select your style of appointment. The next steps will be to fill out their questionnaire and create a style Wishlist! Once those steps are completed, one of their stylists will give you a call to confirm you appointment and the details you have provided.
What is the process for brides who don’t know where to start?
Prepare for your appointment by creating a Pinterest board or a folder of pictures of different styles! The more inspo pics, the better! The Studio I Do Bridal Stylist will start by having you try on multiple different styles and will ask what you like and don’t like. Be prepared to try on MULTIPLE dresses!
What trends are you excited to see more of in 2023?
Kristen: Excited to see FUN DETAILS! Feathers, bows, texture, ruffles, you name it! Let you wedding dress show off your style!
Amanda: So excited to see more of the bishop sleeves and corset styles! Timeless and sophisticated looks.
What do you wish more people knew about Studio I Do Bridals?
Studio I Do Bridals was founded in 2014 by its owner, Ashley! They are under the same ownership as Here and Now Bridals, Mom and Me, and All the Rage!
Studio I Do Bridals is the only local retailer who carries the Disney Bridal Collection.
They carry wedding dresses, tuxes, bridesmaid dresses, AND second look outfits like jumpsuits and mini dresses!
Any advice for newly engaged couples or brides?
