This past month, our lead Wedding Designer & Coordinator had the pleasure of designing and coordinating the details for two of her clients’ After Parties – both of which were held at The Back Deck. The Back Deck is located right next door to The Lesner Inn and is the perfect spot to host an exclusive after party. Not only because the location makes it easy to transition guests from one location to another, but also because of it’s fun and relaxed atmosphere.

Incorporate Fun Details & Decor

Transform the venue into a space that reflects your style and enhances the celebratory atmosphere. For instance, we removed all bar stools, tables and chairs at The Back Deck to create a space that was perfect for dancing and mingling. We hired Stage Right Lighting to install disco balls and fun lighting. Finally, instead of doing a “Reception Exit” we did an “After Party Entrance” with metallic pompoms to ensure the After Party kicked off with HIGH ENERGY.

Hire Entertainment

Staying true to your personalities, incorporate entertainment that reflects your interests and brings the This could include live music, a DJ spinning your favorite tracks, or even a surprise performance that will have your guests on their feet. For example, we hired Astro Entertainment to DJ the after party and asked Astro to include their Karaoke services because the bride and groom’s first date included Karaoke. Let’s just say, it was a HUGE HIT!
