Keep it simple and put some of your favorite chocolates in a small bag that goes with your wedding colors or theme. You can winterize it by dressing it up to look like a present and attach a little ribbon with a thank you tag or the date of your wedding day to add a little extra love to it! You might even want to create a hot cocoa mix jar or mug as your favor for guests to take home.  You can customize the jar or mug by adding either the couple’s photo, their names, date, or by just saying thank you! Not only do your guests get a jar or mug they can use later on but they also get a delicious treat to end their night! You may even have a big sweet tooth which means candy apples may be perfect for you! Usually a fall treat – you can winterize it by dying the caramel white and dipping it before handing them out or placing them in boxes to spread around the tables!

Pop the bottles because mini champagne bottles are always a hit and you can winterize it by placing them on top of a small patch of fake snow at your guest’s place setting or by attaching a mini snowflake as the topper. Another idea is doing a cocktail shaker with a mistletoe attached to it with a red ribbon and a thank you tag! You may even want to look into getting some themed cocktail kits as a takeaway favor!

Handkerchiefs and blankets can be customized to have your wedding hashtag, the date or anything else that represents you as a couple, such as your favorite quote! It’s simple and a great favor for guests to have and use if you have some outdoor areas to your venue during the winter months!

Some other winter favors include doing wooden snowflakes with your chosen writing burned into them for guests to use as coasters or add a ribbon to the top to make them into tree ornaments. Instead of mini cacti you can gift mini tree saplings for them to take home and grow or place miniature chocolate chip cookies in ornaments to enjoy later! Lastly, nothing says or smells like the holidays or winter than a scented candle or soap, so decorate the candle jar to match who you are as a couple or get miniature carved soaps that contain the date or your initials!

There are so many ways to customize and winterize your wedding that we can’t wait to see what you do!
