A season for every bride | Spring weddings | The Lesner Inn, Virginia Beach, VA

Last May we designed a two-day shoot that showcased all four seasons at The Lesner Inn. We called it A season for every bride and it was an absolute honor work with some of Hampton Road’s most talented wedding vendors. We are so excited to blog about each season to tell you more about their work!

Undoubtedly, Spring in Virginia Beach is an exciting time. The beaches are brimming with activity, and everyone seems to have turned on summer mode, after hibernating all winter. Born & raised in Virginia Beach, we are familiar with the excitement the Spring season brings and we wanted focus on bright & colorful florals to showcase the exciting time.

Spring Florals

What better way to showcase Spring than by beautiful Spring florals? We partnered with Song Bird Florals who brought our vision to life & made it so much better. As a substitute to a traditional arch on our 2^nd floor deck overlooking the Lynnhaven Inlet (The Sunset Deck) she used flowerpots and filled them with tulips, roses, hydrangeas, delphiniums, ranunculus, & scabiosa. As a result… we bring you FLORAL HEAVEN. In addition to our beautiful view of the blue water, the sky served as the perfect backdrop for the pops of color.

Our model bride then enjoyed a garden feel cocktail hour & reception in our first-floor deck, *The Waterside Deck. Of course, what can make it feel even more like a garden themed reception than a water fountain, violinist, and macaroons?! Not to mention, French floral blush napkins paired with a velvet rose quartz table linen & ivory chiffon runner. Nevertheless, CUE THE HAPPY TEARS.

Most importantly, THANK YOU to all the vendors who participated in making the Spring shoot so beautiful. We loved EVERY. SINGLE. DETAIL.

**Because the Waterside Deck was recently renovated & is still undergoing some updates, the pictures taken in The Waterside Deck do not portray all of the updates made in January-March 2022.
