Lesner Hall & Sunset Deck

We chose the Lesner Inn for our wedding this past July and I could not be happier that we did. The venue is gorgeous, and you cannot beat the amazing view. The food was absolutely fantastic, the staff was top notch, and our guests were blown away! When planning our wedding here, we initially decided to not have a  “Day of Coordinator” as our wedding party only consisted of myself, my now husband, and my daughter. I thought with having a small wedding party that I could do this on my own. Thank goodness I changed my mind because hiring Britne was the best thing we could have done! She was absolutely amazing! Britne was super responsive, provided great suggestions, and helped me talk through everything when I started to become completely overwhelmed with planning. As it got closer to our big day, she responded to all of my panic emails quickly and put me at ease. She went above and beyond with everything. For example, a few weeks before our wedding, she was outside on the Sunset deck playing the songs for our ceremony and figuring out how long it would take for my entrance to make sure the music faded at the perfect time. No matter what I asked, big or small (like if she would help me get into my dress), she was there to help with a smile on her face. She is the reason our wedding was perfect. Following our reception, my husband and I looked at each other and both said that there is no way we could have done this without her. So, thank you to Britne and the amazing Lesner Inn staff for making our special day amazing!

My husband and I were married on 10/13/23 so this review is late! However, it’s late because I needed the time to sit down and write the full review. This team was so amazing that I did not want to leave a generic review.
First- NOELLE. She was absolutely fantastic and a real pleasure to work with. I am a wedding vendor myself and the amount of guidance she provided was so appreciated. We worked with Noelle for a little under a year. Her expertise, and eye for detail, is phenomenal. She was always available to answer any questions we had. Second, Noelle was not our planner (although Lesner does have its own planning services) but with how helpful she was, she really felt like it up to the day of our wedding, when our day of coordinator took over. She gave us amazing, money saving recommendations, guidance on our seating chart, guidance on our timeline and honestly, was more involved than the full planning service we booked with another planner (I do have to mention that our day of coordinator, who we did not meet until the rehearsal, was OUTSTANDING). Noelle really put me at ease during many moments throughout the wedding planning process. Third, we originally booked just the waterside deck and, with the amount of family we felt obligated to invite, we decided to upgrade to the Lesner Sunset Deck & Hall (upstairs). We mentioned to Noelle we were thinking about just booking the entire venue for the Friday evening but still hadn’t fully committed. A month went by and another event inquired about booking the waterside deck on the same night of our wedding (which they are able to do as it’s a separate area from from Hall and Sunset deck). Noelle called, and emailed, to ask us if we wanted to move forward with booking the entire venue before they booked the separate space for another group. I was so thankful, and a little in awe, that she STILL checked in with us even though an entire month had gone by! They very well could have moved forward with the other event, as we hadn’t put down a deposit for the entire venue, and had only mentioned it in passing! Fourth, The Lesner is an amazing venue, and it’s pretty much all inclusive (with rentals, upgrades, and more that you can add on at an additional cost). They work with many budgets and tailor it to exactly what you’re looking for. We had inquired at a few other venue’s prior to booking Lesner and fell in love once we saw the packages and the space. I would book Lesner Inn again for any event I have in the future! Finally, the entire team at The Lesner is great and really make you feel welcome the minute you walk in the door. My wedding was a literal dream come true and it could not have been possible without the help of Noelle and my entire vendor team!

Having our wedding at the Lesner was the absolute BEST decision that I made. The space is stunning and I always enjoyed every time I was there. I could go on an on about how amazing everything was but let me point out what absolutely MADE our time with them incredibly special. 1. The people. We worked with Britne and she was kind, friendly, always prompt with responding to my every question, and willing to go above and beyond to make sure we got what we needed. We live in Tampa, FL but are from VB so she was more than accommodating working around our travel schedules. The night of the wedding Britne was on top of everything, always in the mix to help with anything, and made me feel totally at ease. 2. Food/Alcohol. As someone who never dipped their feet into the wedding world before my own wedding, I had no idea what to expect. Having a venue that handles the food and alcohol is a MAJOR plus. Not only is a plus that they do it, but they do it WELL. They have sooo many fabulous options to choose from- from the hors d’oeuvres, to the dinner, to even late night snacks (I HIGHLY recommend adding some of their late-night snack to your menu. We did the chicken tenders and pretzel bites which were an absolute hit!). Anything that you choose will be delicious, by far the best wedding food I’ve ever had. The catering staff was also amazing. Everyone I ran into on my wedding night was friendly and helpful. The bartenders were top-notch too, we had friends go out of their way to tell us how great they were! 3. Location. We knew we wanted a venue that could host the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception at the same place. Each part of the night had its own space in the venue (if you do rent the entire space that is) and each area felt special and welcoming. There was not an inch of the venue I wasn’t obsessed with. I always wanted to have everything inside because I did not want to let the weather dictate my day so I was a litttttle nervous about having the ceremony on the deck. To my dismay, it did in fact rain on my wedding day, BUT that actually turned the deck into the most romantic, gorgeous, intimate space to have the ceremony. So I can attest, even if you’re wanting the beautiful sunset overlooking the water, the rain can add a special touch that will make your ceremony unforgettable (all of our guests were swooning over how stunning it was). The venue really speaks for itself. You see pictures, you can even go in and even see other people’s wedding set up in there, but when you walk in and see your vision that you’ve been working on for months and months in the space, there’s no better feeling. And it will come together working with the Lesner! You could honestly have no decorations and the space would be beautiful. 4. Rental items. We added the drapes and lighting behind our band and on the ceiling and it was….breathtaking. I highly recommend adding those two things especially if you want a band!! They have so many fun extras to choose from which made it so much easier to go through them and not have to find another vendor. 5. They KNOW what they’re doing. There were times I didn’t even know what I was doing and was praying it would come together, and it did. But it wasn’t by luck, it was because of how hard the staff works, how well they know their stuff, and how beautiful the venue itself is. My wedding at the Lesner was a DREAM. Perfect in every way, you will be blown away working with them. Thanks again for everything 🤍

Our experience at this wedding venue was truly exceptional, and we cannot express enough how much we loved every aspect of our special day. The staff at the venue, especially Noelle, were an absolute pleasure to work with. Noel’s professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail made the entire planning process smooth and stress-free. Her expertise in wedding coordination were evident from the start, she went above and beyond to ensure that our vision for the wedding coordination were brought to life. No request was too big or too small for her, and she handled each step of the planning process with utmost care and dedication. Throughout the planning phase, Noelle was always available to answer any question we had. Her responsiveness was impressive, and it gave us a sense of reassurance knowing that we could rely on her guidance and support. She took the time to understand our preferences, and her valuable and suggestions and creative ideas truly enhanced the overall experience. What stood out most about Noelle was her ability to handle any wedding drama that arose with grace and tact. Weddings can be emotionally charged events, and it’s not uncommon for minor hiccups to occur. However, Noelle navigated through any challenges seamlessly, putting us at ease and ensuring that everything ran smoothly. The catering staff, bartending staff, and the food was also exceptional. Overall, we are incredibly grateful to the venue and its staff for making our wedding day an unforgettable experience. The combination made it a day we will cherish forever. If you’re looking for a wedding venue that goes above and beyond to ensure your special day is everything you dreamed of and more, we wholeheartedly recommend this venue.
