In honor of National Doughnut Day we want to celebrate the nontraditional Doughnut Cake! Although most couples tend to choose a traditional wedding cake, a doughnut cake may be a fun way to get creative and save some dough (haha)! The cake can be comprised of as many doughnuts as you would need for your guest count or more if you have some sweet tooths in the crowd. They’re also great for weddings with a lot of children or picky eaters. You may choose to have one pre-assembled, but it may not be a bad idea to have the groomsmen put it together- it’ll keep them out of your hair and busy until they are needed!
