Have fitness and health goals but not sure where to start? Well, let Inphinity Fitness help guide you! Not only do they know about nutrition and fitness but they’re also a September 2020 Lesner Inn couple who know the stress of planning a wedding but putting their health and goals first!

What made you want to start your own fitness/nutritional practice?
I played sports my entire life growing up. After college I started training one of the top gyms in the D.C. area. But while there I noticed a void in the fitness industry. A true personable touch to “Personal Training”. Too many cookie cut workouts and scripted responses. So I started INPHINITY with one goal in mind- to help people achieve their goals while giving them a life changing experience in the process. INPHINITY became passionate about nutrition after realizing that most of the time nutrition is the hardest part of a transformation journey. After losing almost 100 pounds herself, our nutrition coach is very dedicated to helping her clients have a healthy relationship with food.

What makes Inphinity fitness different from all other commercial fitness centers?
We connect with our clients on a deeper level. It’s deeper than just training, deeper than just friends or even family. We are a partner and support system to guide you along the path of your fitness journey.

Are your sessions tailored to the class or to the individual person?
Everything is customized for the individual client. That’s why we do Personal Training and not group fitness classes. We make modifications as needed during each workout to make sure each client can safely and successfully perform each exercise, which then unlocks quicker results.

What advice do you have for individuals or couples who don’t know where to begin when it comes to just starting their exercise routine?
First step is research. Of course I’d recommend to hire a personal trainer or nutrition coach as your #1 option. If that’s not possible then hunt through YouTube, follow fitness pages on Instagram and don’t just believe concepts that you hear, actually go to google and do some digging until you find what works best for you. Find exercises and fitness plans that reflect your goals and desired results.

What advice do you have for individuals or couples who don’t know where to start when it comes to the nutritional aspect of their lifestyle?
Try not to over complicate it. There are so many different “diets” out there that restrict foods and have a tiny list of “good foods” that you “can” eat. While these diets are sometimes effective, these diets are not long term! The first step to changing your nutrition is to make TINY positive changes that add up. For example, a great first step is WATER! Almost every person could and should be drinking more water. For the first week your goal could be to drink double the amount of water you currently do. After a week of hitting that goal add another. The idea is to build HABITS and make changes that you can have for a lifetime! PATIENCE IS KEY! A nutrition journey is an ongoing learning process… THERE IS NO QUICK FIX!!!!!

In terms for preparing for their wedding, what training plan would you recommend people to do?
Well that depends on the client’s goal. The first step to losing weight is that you have to be in a calorie deficit. That simply means you burn more calories than you eat. With preparation and consistency anything is possible.

If you have 30 mins to do some exercise each night, what would be your go to advice?
RUN RUN RUN- the most effective thing you can do is a quick jog, sprint or even walk! It may start off challenging but with time it’ll become easy just like everything else in life. The goal is to get moving!

As a Lesner Inn couple, what advice do you have for couples who are also busy planning their wedding when it comes to making time and staying on track for their physical health & nutrition?
Prioritizing, scheduling and advance planning. No successful fitness journey ever happened by accident. You have to truly commit to your goals, hold yourself accountable and enjoy the process. Not everyday is going to be easy but every day will be worth it.
