Meet The Team
Alexis HionisAlexis is a Virginia Beach native, born and bred. She is a graduate of the University of Virginia and, after a short stint in the Los Angeles event industry, she returned to her East Coast beach roots. With an inherent love for all things wedding, paired with her creative energy and attention to detail, Alexis has found her home at The Lesner Inn. Since 2010, she has overseen hundreds of weddings but still hasn’t grown tired of the excitement of the big day…and the wedding cakes.
When she isn’t in the office, you’ll find her working on her annual fundraiser, Beach Ball, or at the beach with her trusty sidekick – Ollie, a long haired miniature dachshund. If you’re lucky, you might run into him at the office as well!
Cayleen JavorskyCayleen is a Radford University alumna with a major in English and minor in Media Studies. She holds the title of the office grammar guide and will proudly teach you where to place your commas! She got her start in the hotel industry before joining the Lesner Inn team, which is where her love of weddings began. You’ll most likely find her reading up on the latest wedding trends so that she can share design tips with Lesner Inn couples!
Out of the office, you can usually find Cayleen camped out on the couch with her adopted pit bull/boxer mix, Rhae. She is a Star Wars fanatic and will gladly nerd out with you!
Lindsey BasnightLindsey is also a Radford Highlander and you will never see her without a cup of coffee! We are pretty sure that she single-handedly keeps Dunkin’ Donuts in business… just ask any of the employees at the Shore Drive location! We love that she keeps her cool in all situations no matter how hectic it gets. She always has perfectly manicured nails and never has a hair out of place!
She is a proud pit bull mom but loves animals of all kinds. In 2017, we found a 6 week old kitten drowning in the Lynnhaven River and she took him under her wing and nursed him back to health. He’s stuck around and we love getting updates from her about how he is growing!
Elizabeth BaileyElizabeth was born and raised in Chesapeake and attended Virginia Wesleyan where she majored in Recreation and Leisure Studies. She may be small but you would be surprised to learn that she was the second baseman on the VA Wesleyan softball team for four years. To top it off, she holds a D3 National Championship title. If you ask nicely, she may even show you the ring!
Elizabeth brings so much joy to our office with her happy personality and optimistic attitude. When she isn’t in the office you can find her dancing on the lawn at country concerts, hunting with her boyfriend and being the early bird at the gym.
